Basic
Information About this Recruitment
1). Designation: Trainee Engineer.
Vacancies: 101 Posts. (Electronics
– 100 Aerospace Engineering – 01).
Pay: Candidates will be paid
a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 30,000/- per month for the 1st year, Rs.
35,000/- per month for 2nd year, and in the event of an extension of the contract, the
remuneration shall be Rs.40,000/- per month for 3rd year.
2). Designation: Project Engineer.
Vacancies: 327 Posts (Electronics
– 164 Mechanical – 106 Computer Science – 47 Electrical – 07 Chemical – 01
Aerospace Engineering – 02).
Pay: Candidates will be
paid a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 40,000/- per month for the 1st year,
Rs. 45,000/- per month for 2nd year, Rs. 50,000/- per month for 3rd year, and in
the event of an extension of the contract, the remuneration shall be Rs. 55,000/- per
month for 4th year.
Note: In addition to the
remuneration indicated above, a consolidated amount of Rs. 12,000/- per year
will be paid towards expenses like medical insurance premiums, attire allowance,
stitching charges, footwear allowance, etc.
Eligibility
Criteria for Applying
Educational Criteria for
Trainee Engineer: Applicants who have completed their BE/B.Tech/B.Sc (4 years
course) from a recognized Institute/University/College in the following
Engineering disciplines–Electronics / Aerospace Engineering can apply for this
post.
Age Criteria for Trainee
Engineer: Applicants
who have an age of less than 28 years as of 1st April 2023 can apply for the Trainee
Engineer posts.
Educational Criteria for
Project Engineer: Candidates who have completed
one of the following courses BE/B.Tech/B.Sc Engineering (4 years course)
from a recognized Institute/University/College in the following Engineering
disciplines – Electronics / Mechanical / Computer Science / Electrical /
Chemical Engineering / Aerospace Engineering can apply for this designation.
Age Criteria for Project
Engineer: Applicants
who have an age of fewer than 32 years as of 1st April 2023 can apply for these posts.
SELECTION
PROCEDURE
a) Candidates should meet
the eligibility criteria as specified in the advertisement. Candidates who meet
the eligibility criteria will be called for Written Test for 85 marks and those
who clear the same will be shortlisted for an Interview for 15 marks. The place of the written test and interview will be in Bengaluru only.
b) Candidates will be
shortlisted for the interviews based on the written test marks (out of 85
marks) in order of merit in the ratio of 1:5.
c) Intimation on
conducting written tests and interviews will be sent to the E-mail ID provided by the
candidate. Candidates are required to comply with the instructions indicated
therein. The results of the final selection will be available on the BEL website.
BEL is not responsible for bounce back or non-receipt of mail by the candidate.
How much
are the Application Charges for applying this BEL Recruitment?

Applicants
who are applying for the Trainee engineer posts and who are from the general,
OBC, or EWS category must pay Rs 150 (Rs.150 + 18.5% GST).
·
Applicants
who are applying for the Project engineer posts and who are from the general,
OBC, or EWS population must pay Rs. 400 (Rs.400 + 18% GST).
Mode of Payment: You can pay the
application fee through SBI Collect.
How to
submit an application for bel recruitment 2023
a) Individuals who like to
submit applications for the positions mentioned above in the job posting may do
so online by clicking the APPLY ONLINE link which we have provided under the IMPORTANT
LINK section at the last of this employment news. The deadline for online
applications is May 18, 2023.
b) Applicants must
carefully read the advertisement’s guidelines before filling out the online
application form. Participants must also check their answers before submitting
the form, as changes cannot be made after it has been submitted.
c) If a candidate applies
more than once for the same position, only the application for which a bank
challan is submitted will be taken into consideration. Additionally, only the
application with the most recent registration number will be taken into account
if a candidate submits two applications with bank challans for the same
positions.
d) Candidates must notify
their appropriate SBU/Unit HR in advance if they are hired by BEL.
e) Candidates already employed by BEL as project engineers or trainee engineers are not
qualified to apply for the lateral positions. However, applicants for the
position of Project Engineer-I who are Trainee Engineers and meet the
requirements of the advertisement may do so.
